i did a rough digital inking of the sketch in May '08 - about 93 % of the inking here - i just adjusted the position of her closest eye and some strands of hair - and painted in rough colours. Time to go dancing!

edits and colours just now in Krita
Edit : (next day) i just updated the file - fixed fur fx around her mouth, added a bit of lighting fx, and some hint of shadow and hi-lights to the rough background.

i have mixed feelings about Chris DeBurgh's "The Lady In Red" - i only heard it the first time about seven years ago and at first disliked it as attempting to plagiarize the style of Roxy Music's masterpiece album "Avalon". But it has grown on me over the years and i think it was intended as a homage.
