She was one of the people to win a free sketch for giving me thoughtful feedback.
Since she loved the rough draft so much, I decided to go ahead and finish it in spite of my sore arm (not a very smart idea, but hey)...it took a long time because I'm still getting the hang of the tools in SAI and still overdoing the shading a bit, but this is how everyone's prize sketches are gonna look as well as how my sketch commissions will look.

Done in SAI with the marker and water tools.

Initial thoughts: Werewolf chick. BAD ASS werewolf chick. Reminded me of http://geektyrant.com/storage/post-.....=1271520597390 from the movie Nightbreed (cool movie).
Again, the shading really adds to this. I'd expect to see something like in a Monster Manual possibly... for a relatively non-violent monster. She looks more like she'd be a friendly prankster... something about the eyes says "I won't hurt you unless you attack... but I'll sure screw with your head while you're in my domain." ..and the term "bad ass" still applies. I love the pose you chose for this picture.

On the 'initial thoughts'... There are few things I hate more than being told <mydrawing x> reminds someone of <otherthing y>...plus that picture confuses me, since I don't see any resemblance, so there was even less reason to say it. ...And then another comparison and I'm not sure what it's supposed to mean. I don't know what to make of most of that.
Please save your mental comparisons, because it ranges from confusing to insulting to me and doesn't really tell me anything else.
