Some time ago I posted a sketch for a convention t-shirt, called "'Ringplane." While looking for something I could colour quickly and use as a new icon on FA, I decided I could crop "Ringplane" paint out a bit of the background, and use it. Little did I guess that this simple idea would still use up the whole evening. But I'm pleased with the results. After finishing the basic colour overlay, I saved it, then proceeded to add graphics for the icon. After that was saved, I was enthusiastic enough to press on, and create a fanzine cover from it! I only just e-mailed the editor my proposal, so he might yet turn thumbs down, but I suspect he won't.

I'm also in a sufficiently elevated mood that I'm posting all three versions.
