Bylak is...an unusually large Roekillik among his species, being born a rather hefty and large pup! His large size as a youngling set him upon the natural path of a skilled and devastating warrior, unmatched in melee combat. Roekillik are already naturally-powerful and sturdy beings, and Bylak amplifies the natural strength and sheer sturdiness even more thanks to his sheer bulk and utter size. However, as a result of his sheer size, Bylak's natural psionic powers are on the more...shall I say, 'lacking' side of things. But do you really need to read people's minds or mind control them if you just pummel them to a red and gory stain on the floor anyways? On a more interesting note, Bylak was assigned as the personal guardian and 'bruiser' to Nyshla, even if she has no need of a bodyguard in terms of practicality. Some wonder why she tolerates or even needs his presence- Nyshla is surely capable on her own as she has proven many times before. However the most common speculation is that Nyshla just like to simply incite terror and proclaim more of her dominance among her peers and underlings alike. Roekillik society thrives on strength, and with Bylak at her side, Nyshla keeps raking it in. Perhaps Bylak is oblivious that he is just being 'used' by Nyshla, or perhaps he simply doesn't care. Either way, he enjoys pummeling Nyshla's opposition to a non-existent smear on the ground beneath him.
