Damn right you will, and I'll be saving up for one of those commissions X3
cuz I've no doubt they'll be steep x.x (as they should be :p)
man though... I love the 'glassy'ness you can do. I mean, the vibrant colors are always great (esp. what seems to be your favorite color combo of Tealy-Pink X3) but I can never get OVER your glass-work. If there were ever a tutorial or something I wanted to learn from ya it'd be that :3 well no, there are several things.... but mostly the glass XD
now I have to ask, are the ram horns and feathers grown from her head or are they a part of a head-dress? just curious ^^

The character itself seems to be more along the lines of the feminine type. I'm not really basing the character as female, but the design alone is superb and realistically outstanding.
Were I to assume it's gender I'd have to guess female as there's very little masculine qualities to extrapolate from such a fine character. And being it's dressing, posture, and overall appearance of a native (or ancient culture) type, it could be something like a Mayan or Aztec princess, or quite possibly a Shaman apprentice.
Though I don't want to sound like I'm analyzing your art way to deeply. These are simply the images, thoughts, and impressions that are most prevalent to me when I look at this amazing piece of art. And I would love to have something like this put into a frame on my wall. Because art like this simply inspires me.

I just love everything about this picture.
Of course, the incredibly vibrant colors first catch the eye and draw me in. Then I find myself focusing on the little details. The texture of the fur, the designs on the feathers, the amazing depth and variety in this single piece. Then for some reason I find myself almost in awe of the background, simply gazing at the intricate complexity that is yet somehow simple in design.
I just am totally in love with this piece of art. This is just absolutely stunning. I want this...as an eight-foot-wide painting mounted in a heavy oak frame and hanging in my living room.

And I have to say in a comment totally its own...the eyes! My goodness those eyes are just gorgeous. In fact there's so much about this I just am in awe of. And yet there's always something new every time I look again.
I wish I could favorite this a thousand times over. This is simply the most impressive work of art I have ever seen on FA.

Wow, this is certainly an improvement over its predecessor. Just one question: is that the feline's tail the little buggers hanging on? If so, that's one dang long tail (though it's not like you haven't done something like that before). This is just a beautiful scene and a beautiful character. I'm glad you decided to post it here, as this is...well it's amazing to me. While I'm a believer that nothing is truly perfect (and no form of artistic expression is ever "finished", but merely released), I can't think of anything to change/fix/add to this piece. The frog's a little silly, but that's not really a bad thing.
I really like how the light highlights her head and the exchange without being gaudy. She's a beautiful tribal individual, and the exchange makes a nice little scene; an intelligent creature trying to make a deal with a...less intelligent creature. Gotta give love to the fur and the foliage as well.

Oh, and the joke about the frog is that he's looking up the kitty's loincloth. I was thinking of that scene from Ace Ventura Pet Detective 2 (which I haven't seen since I was 8) where Ace is wandering around saying BUMBLEBEE TUNA for no reason, then he stops to look at some guy in a loincloth and whispers "your balls are showing." This pose + loincloth reminded me of that scene. :P
i don't know if i can interpret a story from this (don't worry, i'm not particularly creative) but i can definitely see him as more than just some random character. iunno, he just seems to have more importance than that. so to some degree, i can definitely see a story following this guy X3
Random? Me? Nnooooo. I'm perfectly macaroni past e=mc^2 in the morning with a cat in the hat to the wild, wild Westminster abbey. To paraphrase Will Smith, getting jiggy and mayonnaise go very well together. However, I disagree with his method as the full monte can only be jacksawed with marmite paste eaten under the shadow of an inverted leopard print snuggie.
Bacon.
Bacon.
Who...who's tail is that on the right side? And wrapping around the trees? Is that part of the local flora here?
Seriously, though, there is a lot going on here that's simply wonderful. The headdress, the colors, the fur texture, the background, the interaction between the characters, everything. A significant improvement on the original piece.

Yip. :) I wanted to finish this before moving onto my next commission. I'm ever so slightly OCD in that I like to do things in a very particular order. I also hate having unfinished works lurking about my hard drive. XD
My work is moving along nicely though so I should be able to get to you in about a month and a half or so. :3

It's a really gorgeous piece. All of the colors are so vibrant, and I really like the way you designed the cat. He looks so exotic, but all of the details are so refreshingly subtle. I didn't even notice he had two sets of fangs, until it just kind of clicked, and that was cool. But, is that tail all his? If so, I think it takes the Incredibly Long Tail phenomenon to all new heights! Wonderfully done, and it's really a cute little story between the cat and the dragon.
I have two very important issues with this picture,
I preferred the eye before the revamp, but I can see why you changed it to something brighter and more.... ARTA. :>
The other thing is... FUCK THOSE MUSHROOMS GET THEM THE FUUUUCK AWAY ;___;
I'm torn between crying and screaming and possibly breaking my laptop, ARGH ;__: I would fave this but for the FUCKING MUSHROOMS
(.....I'm mycophobic, might explain this ragefit a bit)

UGH I was so, so, so happy when I was this in my inbox. This is one of my favourite pieces of all time, so to see it revamped and so touched up TOTES MADE ME SUPER HAPPY :D
It looks absolutely amazing, as usual. Your work is astounding! Please always post art, and lots of it.

OH MY GOD, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU CHANGED IT! NOW IT SUCKS!!! Why does it suck? BECAUSE THERE'S AN OLDER VERSION AND EVERYBODY KNOWS THE OLDER VERSION IS BETTER BECAUSE THAT'S JUST HOW IT IS AND oh bugger I can' keep this up anymore.
Lovin' the flowers and the BG, and the frog is just awesome.
Go go revamps! POST MOAR, FUCK THE HATERS!

I am fairly certain I would shoot myself in the face with a volcano if I couldn't do art. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
I so was tempted to draw Bobbiejean at a doctors office recieving news that her small motor skills (hands for writing drawing etc) would never work again...
Then draw a second panel of her skydiving right into an active volcano saying something like "COME ON BITCH! BLOW!"

Incredibly long tail is longgggggggg. And impractical from an evolutionary standpoint. How can this kitty walk through an impenitrable forest without wrappinng his tail around every tree?
And your art is mind blowingly awesome as always. I can't say anything at all without sounding like a babbling sycophant, so I'll stop with WWWWOOOOOOWWWWW.
And to say that James Cameron probably got his inspiration for Avatar from you. There I go, dissolving into effusiveness.

You bring up an interesting point about evolution which I will now OMNOM. >8}
Evolution turns out plenty of things that are impractical such as the peacock's tail, the giraffe's neck, the Irish elk's antlers, several hundred ton dinosaurs, kiwis birds and so on. I would say that use of the term "practical" in regards to evolution is almost dubious. The term "practical" is relative; any perfectly utilitarian attribute can become highly impractical due to environmental attrition. Example: Hypothetically, all the tallest trees in Africa die; suddenly the giraffe's previously advantageous neck is a horrendous liability.
Evolution can be very "impractical," (dubiousness of the term in this context notwithstanding) especially considering the effects of sexual selection (which is what is most likely the cause of such things as the peacock's tail and Irish Elk's absurd antlers).

That is quite true. Evolution doesn't always go with the most "practical" route. A peacock's tail makes it more likely to be eaten by the tiger, but is more attractive to the peahen, so apparently sexual attractiveness is more desirable than being able to evade predators.
So your cat has a long tail because that's what the lady cats want?

Yay! Humpings!
Bunnies are the best at the humpings!
*bunnyhumps*
I love the eye there. Wish I had that sort of "intense stare" potential ready to be unleashed upon people who argue with me and people who try to sell me stuff in the street.
*stares intensely at them and whispers "Hmm, very interesting, very interes... HAHA! YOUR SOUL IS NOW MINE!!! MWAHAHAHAA!!"*
*pauses and glances around at everyone* Umm, sorry. Got a bit carried away there. Anyways, nice pic

Hehe, I like that you also make totally (somewhat) unrelated assumptions about things :P
Like the Ace Ventura thing =3
Reminds me of a conversation I had about "You need to trim your grass" that somehow went to "The function of clit pumps", don't ask me how... I have odd friends x3
And as everyone else pretty much said: Your art is really amazing

Wow, a tail like that would get me in so much trouble. Also, I had to replace a few fuses in my head, mind was sufficiently blown several times. First, the eyes and the feathers...dear god they have such awesome details, then I noticed the fur. POP, there went mind fizzle again at how REAL that fur looks! This is easily on par or BETTER than some of Strype's best art, and he's like my favorite artist that Ive seen on the site so far. This is beyond talent, this is unreal.
Holy speechlessness, this is amazing.
Pieces like this really remind me that I need to study realism more.
I'm really impressed not just with the level of detail, but with how well it reads as a whole. Even through drawing every single hair, you kept a really good sense of general anatomy, lighting, and harmony in the piece. It has that rare trait where it seems more real than reality.
Thanks for the kick in the butt, and for the gorgeous work. I am in awe.

I came back to study this picture a while in the hopes of absorbing some of the awesome rays that come off of it. No hope thus far.
Also, I just noticed the frog. Your attention to detail is disheartening.
I like absurd tails, too, haha.
Besides, the tails could just be a sign of dominance (i.e., the tail never ever stops growing ever.) And, eventually, the tail is going to see trouble, so festering in the forest could end up with a liger eating a piece of your tail for a snack (or even just snapping off). Fighting for dominance could make it snap off too. Basically, what I'm saying is, the tail could be a status symbol: The longer the tail, the more you're respected. It's seen as you being able to afford not tussling (or that you're so badassed at fighting that your incredibly large tail never sees damage. Whatevs). Males with large tails, thus, get all da bitches. I could see that being the reason that they have long tails (other than them being cute~).
For all the tail whiners~?
Great job, Silverone! (Is it possible to be your apprentice? I promise not to animate any mops or anything, so serial right now.)

Great thoughts on the tail! Thanks for the complements. :3
You've got an interesting style and I look forward to seeing more as you progress. I've never apprenticed anyone before. XD But if you were serious, I'm sure I could help you in some way. :D Otherwise, to me, the most important thing was studying other people's work, especially Boris Vallejo and the like.

Sure. :) I'll send you a note with some suggestions. In the meantime, you might get something out of my art tips piece. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4484297
after I saw the tail`s role I remembered.. that.. saying that I safed the piccy might break a rule or so. this pic reminds me on so many important things, especially a few I regularily get stuck upon in everyday life because "Im so stubborn"-- I know you think you get praised too much
but its not gonne get betta =p from the works ive watched on your fa acc till now, they all show so many good sides of ALL the right things, and theres GOT to be something to it - so - Ill begone thoughthuggling this one, dont be suprised when you dont see it anymore. if you see it Ive just let it go again so others can still enjoy it, Ill give it back in one piece in any case, promise xD I hate how I always have to make myself shut up about good stuff.

Awesome! Constantly searching galleries and your work is everywhere! A lot of fans too! Hope all this effort is paying out for you.
In this pic it looks like you are being traded for the butterfly since it looks like he likes those colors. HA! Would love to see you art in auction sometime.

Hard to believe it's been 4 years (I used to watch you on my other account). I need to see if you have a DA or website... a website would be awesome! This is my favorite piece, and I used it as my desktop for a long while and got lots of awe from the people who saw your work. You are brilliant!
Thanks. ^__^
I do in fact have a DA. I upload a bit more stuff over there. Here's the link: http://bobbie-the-jean.deviantart.com/
