So here we have Captain Leiko, the steamborg dracogryph, flying through the air. Or, more accurately, floating on the winds. The panel on her back lifts to allow for the balloon to be deployed, thus allowing for air travel.

Colored pencil with ink outline. By the time i'd finished coloring the gryphy and started on the balloon, my hand was getting rather sore. So I said 'screw it' and solid-colored the thing, making a half-assed attempt at highlight/shadow.
I'm still sorting out how the balloon should look. It's subject to change.
