Schabelle the Pheromosa - Copycat Cockroach
So, I just picked up playing Pokemon Sun again to do some Masuda breeding. and I took the liberty to search the GTS for a Pheromosa, simply because I felt the need that I needed one for battle stuff. meet Schabelle- Belle for short, a German Pheromosa and aspiring Bioengineer. she was actually inspired by the work of Dr. Kai Mele, and was excited to learn that I was his Trainer, which meant she had the chance to meet and compare notes with her "hero."
Sparky went with just in case he ever had to pry Kai's flippers from Belle's throat. but it seemed to be unnessisary. in fact, they really hit it off! that normally never happens when Kai meets other Poke-Doctors. they seemed to get along swimmingly... untill Belle unveiled her proudest creation; a trio of prototype biomechanical Scouting drones named (from Left to Right,) PN-X02, DR-X01, and RA-X03. known all together as "Project: Pandora," and each personally identifying by their self-given names; Panelope, Dorothy, and Rachael.
Created to explore the many different worlds of Ultra Space in order to find new homes for extradimensional beings who lost their own worlds. each drone has three heads, but (normally,) only one consciousness each- their other two heads (normally,) shut off in a sleep-like state. this was not the intended design, Belle just figured that for now, it was easier to design the prototype like this for testing while she works on how to number it down to just one head each with the final version.
The three are networked together in a way where they can swap their consciousnesses between their three bodies, by transferring their minds into and out of the heads they're hard-coded to transfer into. they can even all inhabit the same body together and live- albeit briefly- as conjoined triplets. the purpose of this design- apart from allowing the three to know each other's location at all times- is to allow them to swap places with each other no matter how apart they are. to "tag in" a sister who has expertise that the first sister doesn't in any given situation.
if Dorothy- a systems ecologist skilled with alien plantlife- encounters a sick or wounded animal during her travels, she can telekinetically connect with Rachel- a Zoologist and trained Veterinarian- and switch places with her so she can nurse the creature back to health.
then, if Rachael needs to help that creature locate its herd or family, she could link with Panelope- an expert Tracker and Hunter- and switch places with her so she'll help the creature find its way back home.
finally, their genetic template is backed up and is easily replicatable. so if anything ever happens and one of the drones is destroyed, the destroyed drone's consciousness can take temporary refuge in the body of one of their sisters until Belle can clone them a new body. likewise, there's even a "black box" contingency in case they're all destroyed. in which case, they'll all be sent back to Belle's computer and sit there till new bodies can be created.
While it isn't exactly what she was aiming for- what with the 'three heads each' thing- Belle is proud of her creation, and believes that mass-producing it can save countless lives in the infinite worlds of Ultra Space. however, Kai Mele has one little criticism to make with Project: Pandora. namely...
Kai Mele: "You Conceited Alien Roach, YOU RIPPED ME OFF!!"
Belle: "... Es tut mir leid, Herr Mele, I do not understand vat you are saying. how did I--?"
Kai Mele: "You think I don't see what's going on here?! three-tailed antho animal thing? huge collar of neck fur? three heads, but two are almost always asleep? one's happy all the time, one's all brooding and serious, and one's really sweet and shy? and... hey, do you three have like a thing going on?"
Dorothy: "we occasionally cuddle."
Rachael: "Dorothy, Noooo~!"
Kai Mele: "That is MY Project: Hecate, blow-for-blow!!"
Indy: "... Nope~!" (head flips over so Yezza is in front.)
Yezza: "Indy, wait! I-! ... Oh Dear..."
Sparky: "YOUR Project: Hecate? Kai, I thought you swore up and down that you wanted nothing to do with that- your words- 'reject.' why would you pick NOW to start caring?"
Kai Mele: "It's still MY work, darn it!!"
Belle: "Zis is honestly ze first I am hearing of zis 'Hecate' you speak of."
Dorothy: "Are they nice? You said they're like us. they must be really nice."
Sparky: "they are."
Dorothy: "Yeeeee~! I'd totally love to meet them some day~!"
Panelope: "a second Dorothy? hard pass..."
Belle: "Look, I'm sorry if I upset you, Herr Mele. it is not like I intend to keep zem like zis. I am currently working on giving zem each zeir own single-headed bodies."
Kai Mele: "a likely story...!!"
Sparky: "Kai, can you act your age? you seriously sound like a Brionne!"
Kai Mele: "Act my Age?! Sparky, I'm TEN! Levels and Evolutionary Stages are not the same thing as actual aging and you KNOW it, you overgrown Toddler!"
Sparky: "Aaaaayyyy~~!"

It's just the three of them. The sleeping heads are essentially empty vessels that the three minds can jump into and out of when swapping bodies, or occupy when jumping into the same body.
But yeah, they do. Their creator refers to them like sisters, so of course they would too.
And before you ask, Yes; they do love and care about each other, though Dorothy does seem to get on Panelope's nerves, judging by her off-handed comment about the chance of meeting someone who was just like her sister...
