I noticed that I never posted that here. It's weird, though. I drew this in 2014. I'll put it in the scraps a little later.
So, this is Barsik and the Gogi beetle. Two of my old and somewhat crazy characters. They are always around each other and their antics often break the brains of everyone around them.
Barsik is not really his name. In fact, he never had a name before. That's what people used to call him. Therefore, it is more customary to call it this way. Barsik is a member of an evolutionary offshoot that is a transitional form from dragons. He still has the traits of his ancient ancestors, but he can no longer be called a dragon. Rather, he is a kind of mammal. He's intelligent, but mentally and as far as world perception is concerned, he's like a child. All members of his species are like that. Barsik himself is very naive, impressionable, fearful and hyper-emotional. His reactions often turn into panic and hysteria with a piercing loud screeching that makes everyone cover their ears. When he panics (which is at least half of his life) he has no control over his actions. He has a little bit of magic, namely he can levitate for a short time and make quick teleportations over short distances.
Gogi is a beetle. Such as he is called Go'Weden. These are special kinds of beetles that have one or another magical ability. In Gogi's case, he is able to pass through material objects as well as guide other creatures or objects through them. His character is incredibly calm and unperturbed. His indifference to everything that happens is enviable. It is impossible to say exactly how and why he became friends with Barsik, but their friendship is very strong. Beetle in every way tries to protect his friend from danger. Together they are elusive. Gogi can't speak, only buzz, but for some unknown reason, Barsik is the only one who can understand him.
I don't have these characters often, but I like them a lot. They're always doing the crazy thing.
