Yahoo! The fourth and final of my monthly Metamorphic Force tribute transformation pictures. Once again, this was a beat-em-up arcade game whose playable characters are 4 skilled fighters trying to conquer the forces of a wicked ruler who seeks to conquer the world. They are watched over by a benevolent goddess whose powers imbue them with the form of a mighty spirit animal in the midst of battle, so that they fight all the harder, even though it means they grow in size faster than their outfits can cope with.
And with this last one, I decided to have a little bit of a laugh.
Stout wrestler Ivan is faced with a demonic goat warrior who seems determined to cleave him in two! (This is one of the game's boss characters.) But unlike his companions, who go through a moment of pain and fear before they feel the glory and power of their new form filling them up, Ivan delights in his transformation from the start. He touches one of the golden goddess idols that will give him his powers and puts down his trusty log cudgel, which he will not need.
Ivan's spirit animal form is a towering brown bear, and Ivan loves the feel of the thick, soft fur and the keen nose that he gains. But most of all, he gains the gigantic strength and stored body fat of a bear, which allows him to make a move on enemies such as the unsuspecting goat that is not only devastating, but tremendous fun. Servants of evil, beware Ivan's ultra-unbeatable... BELLY BOUNCE!!!!!
