I think I have to add a date when the weight gain drive will end, I probably will not be able to draw much in September so the final will (in the case one of them don't reach 1K earlier) be the first weekend in September. >.<

It is going towards my move in September. I will move back to my home village where I grew up which is across the country.

I think they're referring to how some artists do growth drives on Twitter. One "like" equals one pound, one "retweet" equal five pounds, etc.
Those Twitter growth drives (I think) are intended to promote the artist and increase their follower count. It's a lot of art for free, which wouldn't be helpful for funding your move. :)
