I have been wanting to see myself in a more dinosaur-like form for quite some time now and it was actually by accident that I found someone who is well suited for this. The great linework for this was created by  danteyssss.

Knowing from the start I'd really want to colour this portrayal myself, danteyssss kindly gave me permission to do the painting on this. I don't know why but I do really enjoy colouring something when someone else has created the linework. It's just more fun to me for some reason and I'm really grateful when someone actually gives me permission to do so.

I didn't really know what I wanted the colouring to look like though... So, I just went with the flow and ended up with a mood and theme that feels familiar to some stuff I've painted with acrylics. In that sense, it was also a quick shading practise piece for me.
