Happy Vore Day!
For time immeasurable, the Absols have been the apex predators of eastern Hoenn. This all changed due to human interference. Some enterprising individual, seeing the success of the Safari Zone in Kanto and other places, thought they could make some money bringing 'rare and exotic' Pokemon from other regions to Hoenn in order to sell the safari experience to the people of Hoenn. Among the most... overlooked... creatures brought over were a number of Kakunas from Viridian Forest. This would turn out to be a major mistake, as people from the greater Vancouver area can attest to in real life with their experience with the so-called 'murder hornets'.
To make a long story short, several Kakunas, as they evolved to Beedrills, broke free from the Safari Zone and began to invade and settle into the jungles and swamps of eastern Hoenn. The local wildlife, including Absols, are primarily weak to Bugs, and considerably bigger than the local Pikachus of Viridian Forest. Bigger... prey, meant the Beedrills naturally grew bigger to fill their new niche. Initial, half-hearted attempts by the humans to 'clean up' the damage caused to the ecosystem failed spectacularly, leading to multiple human deaths and disappearances at the lance-claws, stingers, and mandibles of the Beedrills, and a later policy of 'ignore it and hope that nature works itself out', may become an even bigger mistake...
I wonder what kind of trouble the humans could be in if, for instance, the Beedrills began to interbreed with Flygons from just over the mountains to the west?
