This character is one I prepped to draw last year, but ran out of time for! I adore their design, therefore HAD to make sure I gave them a go this year!
This one wound up being a fun experiment, using a darkened monochrome layer and some masking to get the after-blast effect. Definitely a fun one to play about with in future - think it worked pretty alright here!
