[8/15/10] - Meet Gypsy, the newest member of Team Sofawolf. She's a 6 month old female Siberian Husky from a breeder-owner-handler friend of ours who was looking for a good home. She's a real charmer.

Yeah now that you mention it, it looks like the latest FA update no longer shows the EXIF data in the image info box for photos. Bummer...
Canon D20 SLR. This is using an old analog SLR 55mm lens, so with the digital multiplier it is about 70mm I think. Best lens I own and relatively light, so I default to it. One of these days I'll get a fast 35-77mm zoom (when I have a spare $1300 laying around)...

So far they are getting along great. At this stage they are swapping off dominance, with Wizard sometimes being chased by Gypsy and doing a lot of rolling over for her, and sometimes the reverse. I don't imagine that will last. Usually the females are the dominant ones and the males accept it fairly graciously. Given that Wizard is fairly mild-tempered, I would expect that to hold.
From the set of her legs and proportions, I expect Gypsy may end up being taller than Wizard, if not as heavy.

Since she was raised by a breeder-owner-handler, one nice thing is that she comes well crate trained and used to being dragged about to shows. I think this will help.
She's definitely higher energy than Wizard, but we're starting to pick out some of her rhythms and developing strategies for dealing with them. She can be surprisingly calm at times.
