Nov 5 2042- Day 46

It snowed today. Kind of took me by surprise to be honest. I mean we had this massive heat wave only a few weeks ago and I never really felt all that cold. Logically speaking, I should have expected it sometime in the near future. I mean, we are into November now. This is the period of time where it can be possible to see snow. It isn’t going to stick. The ground is too warm still, but it is the first snow of the year.

And i have to say, my opinion on snow is a lot better this year than in previous years. Partly because I don’t have to deal with having to be on the road with the snow. To be fair, I don’t think I’d be able to drive anyway, given my lack of dexterity in my hands and that my feet likely couldn’t touch the pedals anymore. But I’m allowed to just chill around outside and just watch it snow. It actually struck me as quite odd that I was still outside when it was snowing in nothing more than my short sleeved shirt and shorts. I guess all this fur comes in handy some times.

Felix, of course, wanted nothing to do with being outside. Don’t know if it’s a matter of him simply not wanting to be wet or some aspect of his former self peeking through. Having spent time with him there are times when the way he acts is not entirely cat-like, like there is some part of him that still remembers his past life. But they just don’t come to the surface but are instead hidden deep within, locked away. And I imagine I’ll eventually have some stuff like that too. Even if I am keeping most of my mind, some aspects will fade away and be difficult to reach.
