I have to say I am stunned by people's ignorance. First of all, I KNOW you are not encouraging Nazism, NOR are you a Neo-Nazi, but people are so eager to to start a riot with no facts to support their fight. It is a sensitive subject to many, I understand that. However, the reason it remains a sensitive subject is because so many people want to ignore the fact that Nazi's existed ( and sadly, still continue to do so due to the need of a self loathing superiority comlex). I just find it funny how when the series "Muas" came out you never saw people calling Art Spiegelman a Neo-Nazi. I'm just saying.
Anyway, to quote South Park, "Hitler, was a very bad man", WWII is not a fairy tale, Neo-Nazi's eat babies, and Fascism is highly over rated.

I even find it astounding that when I draw my supervillain Nazis (my own parody of old comics) I still get people assuming that I'm a Neo-Nazi simply because I depict characters that are Nazis... it just doesn't make sense sometimes. More so, it's a sensitive subject because people are educated about it in a very one-sided manner. All they really teach in History class is that in WW2 the Germans were all evil and killed a bunch Jewish people, then America came in and made everything better... not at all an accurate depiction of the actual war, but that's what they teach.

Exactly my point,most people never even consider the fact that the many German's who were not pro Hitler suffered great loss as well. Mother's fearing their children being recruited and taken away to participate in something they did not support. Not to mention how the people of Germany saw their friends, families, neighbors, co-workers, ect. violently taken away from them. And it was not just the Jewish people, but let us not forget the Polish, Russian, Homosexuals, Gypsies,ect.Rarely does anyone speak about them.
I look at it this way my dear, the people who call you a "Neo-Nazi" are the same people who enjoy artwork about rape, incest, pedophilia, and other morally questionable acts. So apparently it's ok to draw that kind of artwork? I think too, the Nazi as an archetype scares certain people, because deep down there are people out there who crave that kind of control.
And one more gripe I have with people calling you a Neo-Nazi is the fact that you in NO way misrepresent your Nazi characters! You draw them as evil cunning bastards! I don't see you drawing your character all chibi-ized, cute, and cuddly handing out swastika covered easter eggs and Nazi paraphernalia and quoting Mel Brooks, "Don't be stupid! Be a smarty, come and join the Nazi party!"

Most people wouldn't know about that because then they would have to go into thinking about things on the complex human level. For most, it's just easier to assume that it was just good guys versus bad guys...Not at all true. My grandfather was a German soldier and he never supported the Nazi ideals. He is in fact one of the nicest men I know.
And yeah, the gypsy extermination is why my mother's family up and left.

Yeah. I see a lot of people talking all "how dare you draw Nazis!" and you go look at their work with some very questionable content. Even an artist that I love gets a lot of guff for her Nazi themed works, even though her stuff is not about hate. She simply uses the image of the Nazi, and is usually mocking certain aspects of their ideals... but no one bothers to go beyond surface content.

Mostly I just laugh at the people that have the automatic reaction of "OMG! UR EVIL! UR A NAZEE!". It wouldn't be so bad if someone could come up with something new to say.

If you want to get in to symantics, Hitler would not have come to power if America, France, England, ect. did not punish Germany so badly after WWI. The surrender treaty they had them sign devestated that country. They were completely powerless.
And I understand, my great grandmother migrated to Argentina during WWII to escape the persecution. And sadly due to the migration of so many third reich supporters Argentina's government became so influenced by these people. My mom tells me stories of being a child in Argentina and remembering when officials of their government were kidnapping her neighbors because they were scientists, actors, artists, gypsies, and doctors...and this was in the late 60's through the 70's, well after WWII.
Anyways I will stop spamming your page and get off my soap box. It's just refreshing to be able to talk to someone who is interested in this kind of subject matter.

True. What we did to Germany pretty much came back to bite us in the ass. I've actually been reading a German soldier's memoir that begins just as Hitler comes to power. It's very fascinating.
I apologize that my mind cannot think about the Third Reich migration to the South American countries without thinking of "They Saved Hitler's Brain".
