Well back in D/P, Pokemon from Gens 1 to 3 were available, just not all of them at once. Pikachu for instance can be encountred in every game before you defeat the E4. Black and White is different. There are no old Pokemon until after you beat the game. You'll be forced to use 150+ completely new critters rathern than rely on the old favourites.
oh okay. that doesn't seem so bad. i guess instead of having like 180 pokemon (with 60 old favorites) now it's like 150 new pokemon?? something like that? we'll see how it goes.
