I was having a tummy ache and sitting down is painful when I get those and gum helps with the nausea. It's totally rational, this is totally rational bran talkin not lzrnaid.

A few people die from vending machines every year. I think at some point you just gotta live and not worry too much about the consequences.

Or your mouth hangs open enough for the gum to dry out and get all crumbly and awful, and you just can't seem to get all of it out after waking up.

Ive fallen alseep with gum in my mouth actually more than once, cause I was chewing gum and messing with my phone in bed... what ended up happening was it got lodged on my teeth and since my jaw is shut it stuck the gum in place so when I inevitably opened my mouth the gum was stuck to the tooth that ended up catching it when I closed my jaw as I fell asleep.

When I wake up just about every time, the gum is lodged in the back of my maw somewhere and the teeth its stuck to are... not really numb but really uncomfortable. It cant be good for your teeth either. Do not recommend, not even without the potential choking hazard.

My Dad claims that he had gum fall out and catch in his hair as a kid. No idea how truthful he was being.
