Visenya watched intently as her friend Euphredes trained in the courtyard. As he favored the greatsword, his dance of death was far less... elegant than hers, but still impressive nonetheless. "Care to try a more refined weapon my friend? Your swings look like you're trying to cut patches of wheat." He stopped at her jest and turned to face her. "What you accomplish in five cuts, I can do in one." She smiled as she stepped forward, offering him one of her scimitars. "Humor me." Carefully leaning his own sword against the training dummy, he gently took the offered weapon. "There's very little heft to this... no wonder I have to mop up after you." After giving him a moment to get a feel for the lighter sword, she leapt at him.
What ensued was a combination of near misses and artful parries. For someone so acquainted with a heavy weapon, the dragonborn certainly possessed some skill at lighter arms as well. Before long the two were exhausted. And sat down on a nearby bench.
"Care to try my sword Vis?" She glanced across the yard at the sword that almost matched her own height. "I'm not even sure I could lift that thing Euphredes. It may actually weigh more than me." He chuckled lightly and got up to retrieve his weapon. "I guess we'll each be keeping to our own style then. You the flashy blur, and me the foe cleaver." She laughed in turn at the sentiment. "What a pair we are my friend. The dancer and the butcher."
