Given that he’s expressionless, is there anything that makes him react in any way? Like if someone complimented his photographs, would he just stare at them the same way and mumble thank you?

He probably has lots of subtle changes according to his mood, with the most noticeable being a greedy expression when he's hungry! But mostly no, I think his expression stays pretty flat ^^

Well I'm convinced!
Unrelated, but did you know large leeches can have a painless bite, and feed very rarely due to the extremely high nutrition content of blood?
I thought that was interesting!

I did not know that! I've caught leeches in a local lake and honestly they are exactly the kind of little wiggly creature I do *not* want to swim with lol
