Didn’t know what to do for Lion Day, but I was thankful to get some help. Decided to draw Streaky the Lion in the style of Jellystone.
Never watched the show outside of some clips but he was very much inspired by The King, I think I attempted the style pretty decently. :3

Well, like I said in the description. I only saw a few clips online. However I think it’s a fun unique re-invention of the characters. Plus having them live and work in a domestic town allows more interesting character interactions and scenarios to play around with, there are some questionable changes to some of the personalities but most of them work out fine in the enviroment the show creates.
The humour is classic C.H. greenblatt humour, similar in ways to Chowder but with some added modern referential humour and fourth wall gags. Overall it’s still a respectable reboot, and I look forward to seeing how it evolves.
