I was imaging who Njeri is while editing- Perhaps a niece of Zira's? A cousin of Vitani, maybe. I picture her as being surprisingly well-fed and bulky even before they were allowed back into the pridelands, perhaps using her as muscle for guarding scarce vegetative territory. Her personality is naturally sweet, curious and attentive to her pride, without having been tarnished by the harshness of the outlands.
