Another example of the juvenile Elk wandering in the field with multiple cows at his side. He grazed slowly from one end of a massive field to the other, no care in the world... Of the hour and a half I stopped to photography them, this is the only time he picked his head up for any longer than a second. Stunning animals, though at this point he was beginning to get to close, and I decided to move to the other end of the field to shoot form another perspective. The Valley here is stunning, but if you want to see the animals arrive before the sun comes up.

I like this one a little better than the other elk you posted, because of the mist fading the cow in the background; the grazing elk, however, is unfortunate. I could dink with it in Photoshop and "remove" the grazing elk, if you'd like me to try that. It would just be a matter of covering it with a piece of open background and fuzzing the seams a bit. I do it all the time. Now you see it, now you don't.
