There is something flamboyant in her dress; I cannot point at exactly what, beyond that magnificent hat, for I know not fashion. The pastels contrast with the warm lighting and mask - and in doing so, leave me unsettled. The study in contrasts shown here - high-class fanciness melded into brutal function, cool colors under warm light...
