Can you feel it? The way your face stretches forward? You don't really know why. You only know that it is happening.

You can feel the prickle of fur lining the edge of your jaw. Any hairs being subsumed by the dominant dusty coat covering it. Upon the bridge of your lengthening nose, a set of scales washes over the tender skin. Making it firm and rough to the touch. Between thinning lips you can taste your changing teeth, each blunt ridge turning sharp as your tongue lengthens into what could only be described as an exotic licker. Yet, you don't feel the need to pant. That's for dogs and you are no dog. Though your nose darkens into a rough sniffer, the human point flattening down into a far more sensible form, you don't feel the need to crawl around on all fours. You are a Hirith, civilized and strong. As your four ears break free and twitch upon the wind, listening to every sound from the low rustle of leaves to the high-pitched cries of the animals, you solidify your sense of self.

Though surprise colors your minds at the transformation a grin inevitably forms on your changed face.

You could get used to this.

An icon that I managed to grab from the talented  NekoGato and  Recurrent duo, I have always been really happy with how this animation came out. Showing off my species' proud features in an animated and transformative style. At some point, I'll have to acquire other similar short animations to show off other features of my species. For a starting point though, this was phenomenal to get first.
