In a sequel to a story I wrote some year ago, one of the characters is complaining to the protagonist about his name which translates into water. He says water is weak because it becomes the shape of whatever it's poured into. My protagonist replies saying that water is very powerful. Water can be used to cut the hardest thing in the world as long as it's under pressure. My protagonist tells the other character that (at the time of the conversation) the other character is under an immense amount of pressure and should use it to his advantage.

This page speaks volumes, despite what little was said. Fenne needed love and comfort, knowing that the fate of the world is essentially upon her shoulders. All that knowledge...knowing that things are quite Grimm, shows how much she has matured since the beginning. But like everyone else, she too has a breaking point and needs a shoulder to lean on. And who better to do so, then her partner and mother of her child. Which just shows how amazing Vix is since her introduction. Seemingly knowing that Fen needed what she could provide at this moment.

It still kinda baffles me that what everyone reading the comic probably (understandably) thought were starts in the sky whenever they saw spots on a night sky... it was actually a universe-consuming entity leaving marks on a last-ditch-effort barrier put in place however long ago...
