Today I had to say goodbye to my good pal, Mister Johnny, who passed away today from a sudden and very brief illness. You were surrounded by love all the way to the very end.

Johnny was the first cat I've ever seen, from the time he was a newborn, to the day he died. He was born to a stray tabby cat my grandmother was caring for; her first litter, born on May 3, 2011. He spent the first seven months of his life being cared for my Grandma, before coming to live with my family in October with his sister BeeBee. She sadly ran away from our home in September 2012, leaving us with just Johnny and our other cats at the time, Calico (2002-2017), Bam-Bam (1996-2013), and Priscilla (2003-2020). He was a very loving and mellow cat, who earned the nickname "pesty" for his constant need to beg for food, and attention. He even was friends with our dogs, Storm and Sable, when they came home to live with us in 2018 and 2020. Stormy learned that while cats like grooming themselves, they don't appreciate being groomed by a Doberman! Johnny gave Storm a bloody nose after he tried to groom him~

You will be truly missed, buddy.
