Njeri's future mate, an outlander-born male birthed from an outlander mother, with a pridelander father. Damu trains to hunt off of the pridelands in secret to help sustain his exiled pride. The stripes on his face are from dried zebra blood, hence his name 'Damu', meaning blood.

Njeri crushes heavily on him and tries to guard territory on the borders close to where Damu likes to practice hunting with his mother. Sometimes he can be seen sparring with Kovu if he catches him.
