One of the newest discovered species of Cusige. Oasis seem to be mutts of other species who have evolved into something of their very own. Studies from afar conclude that they seem to have descended from clusters of prisoners and abandoned slaves.
Their societies are nearly feral in nature, but focus heavily on ritual and indulgence. They live near oases, which gave them their name, oftentimes completely prone to the elements. When they do build structures, they tend to be ritual alters or crude huts.
Anything living that enters their territory is quickly killed and eaten, so extensive study of them is near impossible. However, there are outposts set up to observe them from afar and there have been a small handful of Oasis Cusige who migrate to join society.
Children are a rarity, as most Oasis Cusige seem to be infertile, their mixed genes ending up oftentimes in a mule. When a child successfully takes their first breath, first meal, and first defecation they are ritualistically mutilated. The scar that they carry is shown off with pride when they are older, and most use scarification to bless themselves with more.
