Welcome <Insert Name> to both the Friendly Community of Furtopia and the the Furry Fandom itself. Please feel both warm and welcome while you are within our green and pleasant lands. I see that you have not chosen a fursona for yourself yet. If you would be open to suggestions and would give me a moment to speak, I'd like to talk to you about a species or two:
Have you ever considered a fursona of an Ungulate? What is an Ungulate you might ask? Well, the Ungulates are hooved mammals; that is any animal that is classified with either an odd number of toes (Perissodactyla), even toed (Artiodactyla) or fins (Cetacea). Together they represent 335 unique species of gorgeous creatures just waiting for someone to choose for their fursona.
Due to the sheer numbers of different species, one can choose an Ungulate to best represent their own individual personality. Unlike other species such as the Canids, Feline and Vulpine, the Ungulates have their own uniqueness for each breed. Are you a strong worker able to accomplish back breaking tasks that would be impossible by others? Then you might be an Ox or a Horse. Are you quick, agile or incredibly fast? Then you may have a Deer, Antelope or Gazelle within you. Are you elusive and very stealthy when you move around? Then the Okapi may be your calling, my personal favorite. Were you thought to be extinct but will be making a comeback within our lifetime? Then the Quagga could just be your choice. Do you love the Sea and spend as much time in or under water as possible? Then you may be a Dolphin or Whale. This is just a small list of suggestion to the scores of others out there. Currently, our community is filled if not overburdened with the predators. Why choose to be just another faceless and common fur like them? This is your fursona and should reflect your own unique personality. So I offer you to be unique. Be yourself. Be a revolutionary against the status quo. Be an Ungulate.
