Umbreons are interesting creatures. Able to excrete poison from their skin, shine glowing light in moonless nights, and have a calm demeanor regardless of circumstances, these creatures embody patience, creativity, and darkness in one neat package. It's no wonder that as a child I was attracted to these eeveelutions. Not just for their edgy look but also for their behavior, which I believed mirrored my own.

Solitary. Self-assured. Confident. While my bearing of these qualities is up for debate, I never lost love for the dark-type Pokemon. After all, it did take me over a decade before I finally started to branch out into other species.

This picture represents the first image created that entertained the idea of Rygone. Based on an official picture created by The Pokemon Company, my friend  gamma was kind enough to help create the image that would eventually spawn so much more for me.

Now with many Pokemon under my belt as Pokesonas along with several other species, it's hard to find time to appreciate the sona that started it all. Many of my resources spent fleshing out and expanding my growing sona menagerie. That said though, Umbreons will always have a special place in my heart.
