I love painting dragons in strange dreamscapes. Perhaps I'll do a whole slew of them and compile them in a book.

I love the colors! They're warm and cold at the same time, that's pretty cool.
And I like how the big watercolor splotches almost look like rocks and mountains in the distance, great picture :D

You should do a book! Dragons are very popular right now (then again, they've maintained popularity for thousands of years... so I guess that wouldn't change!). But anyway, I bet it'd do well.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I hadn't drawn/painted dragons for a long time... I feel kind of lame using popular subject matter. I wonder if they don't just fall into the deluge of dragon art and characters and get lost.

I adore strange dreamscapes. Lovely work on the background of this piece, the coloring is wondrous, I just love how it all conflicts and flows together at the same time so fluently.

I love when you draw dragons, and now I can definitely say that I love this for the fact that it's so distant. I like close-up drawings, but drawings like these feel more personal and leave me with a more loving emotion toward the piece/character. (I hope that made sense. Not the best with words. hahaha)

The color and texture work together so well on this piece. The yellow and blue aren't muddy at all where they kiss - what kinds of pigments did you use?

Thank you :3 I used various sorts of watercolor. I forget the brand. They were the tube sort. I don't quite recall the colors either.
