For an upcoming Fallout 2d20 tabletop game, I've opted to stray a bit out of my usual comfort zone with a Human character (Albeit one with a talking animal sidekick) in the form of Dr. Alex Renfield, a Vault Scientist and Veterinarian. Although he comes across as a gentle, kind fatherly figure at first, he harbors a bitter hatred for those who would abuse animals and further endanger those already on the brink of extinction.

Naturally, in a wasteland full of desperate survivors and sadistic individuals looking to do anything to get ahead, this means that he and his pistol might be quite busy in the near future!
