That turned out freaking adorable, the mane is awesome XD

Adorable! I love the little touches like the piercings and the stripes on his widdle facey! The head came out nicely, but I find the back stripes to be a bit rough, which is typical in a color change, but that can be remedied with a couple tricks (http://needlenoodles.com/home/node/139 this has a nice entry on two clean color change methods). The mane looks good too, which is interesting to look at, I like the purple(?) part. This is quite nice work, and I hope to see some more needle artists here on FA.

Anyway, I wish you luck in your future amigurumi pursuits!
