He looks like he's enjoying a very nice, deep and happy dream with his teeth so lightly exposed and the corners of his mouth slightly twisted upwards into a teeny looking smile.
The pose is fantastic, with the so very subtle twist in the air. I can only imagine the strain the bolts are under as they support the massive warrior as he sleeps. Such a calm and delightful image. Though I'm curious about the hammock and the room, is this a picture / photo of a den in your house used? Or just a random picture of a hammock and room used for environment.

It was a challenge to draw his facial expression... to make it... well... NOT TOO suggestive. Not as if he's dreaming something naughty, hehehe.
He wasn't supposed to look aroused or anything like that... rather... relaxed.

The reference photo was a male model (athletic body) in a hammock. So... I just transformed the human male into REPTILE!

I've become pretty efficient when it comes to "translating a human body/model into Reptile" these days! ^^
It's not THAT difficult if the reference is great. The worst part was the head... it's always a challange.

I certainly prefer the complete red one too... but this was a fine little change. Also, the pattern does underline the shape so nicely!

Well tastes I guess but I would never used something like this the pattern is just awful . I sure hope you go back to your nice looking and very comfortable red and black with white stripes swimsuit . Or the whole red that was the good one . This one not even drunk someone would wear that
Yay! Finally, a new beach themed artwork! Although, the location is not that beach themed xD But Reptile in speedo is still present, so that's doable ;) I guess you've chosen this specific pattern to show off all the curvatures on Reptile's body? Cause it makes a good job in that regard.
And man, he is so chilled here in that hammock that I even envy him!

Well, the beach is RIGHT behind that wall... can't you see the sun gazing through the windows? XD
I like to think this room to be a small cottage near the beach... yeah!
The pattern is surely something to get used to but yes... it's just for this shot to pronounce the shape!

I´ll say it once more, It´s pretty nice to see Reptile all relaxed and sleepy like that, kinda cute if I said so myself ^^

Some artists use photographs of their own bodies for drawings in order to draw the muscles correctly. This is what Boris Vallejo does, which is why I mentioned him. I thought you did that too.

It's a really good picture! I know you don't draw adult stuff, but this hottie is more than enough for me. ;)
The veins are my favourite part actually, they really make him look jacked and just, hot as hell tbh.
The lighting is great too and it all comes together to create this sexy piece!~

As a matter of fact the digital artworks take less time than the traditional pieces on paper... that's not surprising. You have to be way more careful with real media since you can't erase every single misstep. ^^
But though I prefer the traditional media it's always refreshing to do a rather clean, smooth digital piece... and you can do way more effects as well.
About the overall working time... well, a traditional piece usually takes up to 4 days... 6 hours of work each day. In general I work about 20-30 hours!! And yeah, that's something you can do only in your holidays.

About adult stuff... yeah, I don't draw it ANYMORE. I've done lots of it and I don't hate it... but I prefer the more suggestive and more teasing stuff these days.
Sometimes, it's more teasing NOT to see everything!!!
