I was in my mexican art class and we were talking about how Olmecas had a deity that was a mix of feathered snake, jaguar and dragon and immediatly felt the urge to draw it, I don“t draw animals often because I suck at them so I would love to hear critics of how improve this :) hope you guys like it

Fantastic looking animal, very striking :).
Hmm as for learning how to improve drawing animals all I can advise is a few things.
1* Go to a zoo and take a sketch book and sketch how they move and interact with each other, note how ears might flatten if scared or how they posture.
2* Watch animal programs and pretty much like the first one just see how they move and sketch them down.
If you watch enough and practice, over time you'll have no problems with muscle structures of animals and how they act.
And lastly, don't worry about what your work looks like-every artist is constantly learning new tricks and tips-the best thing is to just enjoy learning about animals and have fun :).
