This majestic Phoenix is the goddess of Phoenixians. Her worshippers believe in reincarnation, and their doctrine involves compassion and respecting the lives of other beings.

You are looking at the illustration to The Rebirth – my first short story whose action takes place in Ornithodea, which is a world inhabited by the species of anthropomorphic birds, who are the only sentient creatures. In historical times, Ellia was a country with falconidae aves as its residents, and they were at war with Kelagh, a state of corvidae aves. Anastasia, a resident of the capital city of Ellia and a young priestess of Phoenix, must say farewell to her brother, Geraki, who is drafted into the army. While living in such difficult times when she cannot be sure herself whom she should trust, she becomes a witness of events which will make her act.

Ta majestatyczna Feniks jest boginią feniksjan. Jej wyznawcy wierzą w reinkarnację, a dogmat ich religii obejmuje miłosierdzie oraz szacunek dla cudzego życia.

Rysunek jest ilustracją do „Odrodzenia” – pierwszego opowiadania mojego autorstwa, którego akcja dzieje się w Ornitodei. Świat ten zamieszkiwany jest przez antropomorficzne ptaki, stanowiące tam jedyny gatunek istot rozumnych. W czasach historycznych Ellia była krajem zamieszkałym przez sokołowatych avesów i znajdowała się w stanie wojny z Kelaghiem, państwem krukowatych avesów. Anastazja – mieszkanka stolicy Ellii i młoda kapłanka Feniks – musi pożegnać brata, Gerakiego, który został powołany do wojska. Dziewczyna, próbując poradzić sobie w tych trudnych czasach, kiedy to nie wie, komu może ufać, pod wpływem późniejszych wydarzeń zostaje zmuszona do działania.
