monster hunter?
ooo thatsounds interesting O.O

Its fun but its not for everyone. Lots of monster grinding but the fights can get really crazy. Lets say a Raptor shows up with some little adolescent raptor and you are fighting them. YOu are handleing yourself rather well with your weapon when suddenly a Giant Bird like creature lands nearby. It see you and it start to scream some weird sound. Suddenly The Raptor and its little buddies go into a frezy. They hit harder! Now the giant bird sings again and some random animals from the nearby woods jump out and start to attack you too! To make matter worse the Gint bird seems ready to fight and now you have to deal with all of them at once...

And that is an easy fight compared to the larger monsters that Burrow through the ground, swim in water, fly or even tunnel through molten lava. Some breath fire, some spit poison, some cover you in mud, some cover you in ice, put you to sleep, paralyze you, electrocute you, and most all of them scream so loud when they first see you its ear shattering to the point you can't move.

The game is very realistic in most many aspect but totally unreal in others. Like a monster can jump on you and start to eat you alive... but you can survive if you button mash XD

Sorry for the long explanation i just really like the game.

It is tough but very very rewarding. Also it i great for those "WTF" moments.

For example...

Me and three other players where fighting a female dragon. I knew the area we had to fight the monster in and I knew the monsters attacks so I figured this would be a normal fight (a hard fight but normal none the less) So the dragon takes off into the air and we follow it into a different area. I arrive last, see that my team is keep the monster occupied so I decide to sharpen my blade so it will cut better. There is a little pond to my right and a small stream flowing between me and my team mates thats not even ankle deep. I sharpen my weapon and get ready to go into the fray...

WHEN THIS HHHHUUGGGGGGEEEEE FREAKEN... THING... THAT LOOKS LIKE A MIX OF A T-REX AND AND AN ALLIGATOR BURST OUT OF THE FU*KIN GROUND NEAR THE LITTLE POND!!!

I thought
WHAT THE FUCK!?

I yelled
WHAT THE FUCK!?THE... THE HELL IS THAT?!

I typed
WTF!?

The monster RRROOOOAAARRSSS!!!

I ran...

My teammates ran...

THE DRAGON WE WHERE TRYING TO FIGHT RAN!!!! (flew away actually but same thing)

Found out later that that monster was called a Devil Jho... and it eats other monsters >.>... yeah...

I must say that would of been OP. I wish they had the Bow in the game. I have always wanted to play with the Bow. It is one of my favorite weapons and I would truly love to learn how to use it. In real life and on the game.

it does come back in the posrtable version again, same with gunlances. Also now two felyne fighters with the hunter x3

i had all kind of wepons specialicing in swich axes the game is kindda funny maybe we can play together some time and if you haven't killeda ala yet i can help there

beaten ala with this character already... just got to lvl 30 with my male gunner... named Gunner. Gonna upgrade hi Bnahabra gunner armor to max when i get the chance. I play randomly now. Mostly I get on Champions online, Dungeon fighter Online, Age of Conan... or one of the other online games I have on my PC.
