how long have u been drawing anyway? i use to draw from middle school to and through high school (needles to say my grades did suffer for it) then i guess i just quit for about 3 to 4 years *blows dust off pencil*, what kind of pencils do u use for the other lines and do they help I'm just asking because during art-class only thing we hardly got to draw was fruit and landscapes

yea art class is not so awesome. but i use ANY pencil i can find but my favorite is led pencil or any old number 1/2 pencils. ive been drawing since the moment mom and dad let me start using crayons. im not kidding. i was drawing pictures fromt the lion king and bambi and all the disney movies i could since i was 4 and a half at the least. everything i have learned, my years of art class didnt teach me EXCEPT for the lessons on BGs that helped viewpoints make things sooooooo easy. but othe rthan how to create buildings sidewalks refrigerators and things like that....i have taught myself through trial and error and plenty of observation of my fellow artists bothe here and on DA

dang u reply fast lol it think i might fool around with a turian tutorial i found on deviant art, what really suck is i could have the coolest thing ever in my head have it all draw out posed detailed and everything then finally get done drawing it, its like WTF did i do oh well more practice for me.

oh yea im a fast typer and im also online from around 10 in the morning to 2AM because i will wake up and when it gets around 12 im not tired... and yes i used to have the same issue it would look better in my head than on paper. so i kept looking up tutorials and finding things to help me. if youd like i can pull from my files and find some of the tutorials that helped me?
