There are few cicadas this year and most years in general.
However next year is the turn of our major 14 year cycle.
I saw it the last time it cam round. quite a sight to see. beyond desciption.

Though I do want to see this amazing sight next year as millions upon millions of them emerge from their 14 year stay in earth,
I also dread the fact that they will devastate the trees of my area, causing many to die. till then I guess


also still getting use to the focal plane of my new lens.
