apologies for being gone for a bit, y'know how it is. at least it's left me some time to come up with a few ideas! because im still fixating on cabinets and machines in general, i wanted to know what Hex would look like had he been given a similar story to my little robot Buddy, starting out a cabinet of sorts and having been turned robot later down the line...originally, i wanted to make him just your average arcade cabinet, but really i thought that didn't fit him...(not that i dont still want to make him one, mind you! they are my favorite after all) then i remembered that machines existed solely for basketball! which was perfect!! it was a bit tricky trying to think of a design to go with, but i tried to keep it kinda simple since Hex is a simple dude :] i also based him off of a simpler-designed machine(even though some basketball machines look REALLY cool). i wanted to give him a screen somewhere that wasn't the very mini score-displaying screens, but i got too lazy...(or forgot, hehe >.<;) imagine that the little design with his virus eye is where his face would be displayed! i think i could've incorporated WAY more of his neon blue in his design, but overall i like this alot :D
