This is a gift for my friend, because he loves my character very much.
My friend and I came up with:
In a multi-fandom universe, his character has made a deal with a demon for eternal life. But he was deceived, because the demon cannot give eternal life because after a while you will have to give your soul, and for this you have to die. The demon tricked BJ and just took his soul. Gwindor Heath (pictured here) was unhappy with this because even the King of Hell observes the rules of honor. Therefore, Gwindor returned BJ soul. But since he visited to hell, his eyes turned black.
After this story, my friends and I often joke that BJ calls Gwindor to his house and flirts. (I already drew erotic art with them https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40152035/)
And in this art, I decided to depict how BJ summoned Gwindor to disenchant him and restore normal eyes.

Ha, this deals seams really bad. Sh** happens.
I liked the story behind the blackened eyes. First I only saw it as a design point in BJ's character. You know, that there is almost everything around on FA & Co. I prefer character traits with meaning. But I also prefer that outlined style of the red eyes. It makes them more defined and agressive looking.
The opposite of this are totally black eyes. My avatar came from a RPG character called Shantell. "It" was a nature ghost standing for death and during night the eyes vanished into complete darkness and emptiness. Which wold kill persons just by starring into them to long. Shantell stood for death and withering away in that game and although it was considered to be on the dark side Shantell had no interest in beeing evil. It just happens around like a force of nature. I should revive the RPG in some future...

I mostly do not give them too much attention. Shantell is quite an exception because its entity stands for some sort of emptity. In other cases I simply stand by the "glows in the colour of energy" or "harritage" line. Thus a characters offspring of two colours normally will have the mixed colour. But because of my characters' eyes are so simple I enjoy watching the ones here.
