Astrid the balloon silk moth.

Created as part of a line of different species of insects to be guides for an insect themed park exhibit and always deflated at the end of the work day.
After several years funding was cut and the guides were the first to go, although the idea was to pop and dispose the 'mindless' guides, after pressure from pro-balloon-life groups they were given a new lease at life and the education and guidance to live their own life to the fullest.
