I honestly thought that it was mimicking a mannequin when I first saw it.
Poor thing, it thought it was getting a sweet deal getting a healthy host. It just didn't realize how its host stayed healthy.
Also! This is a very interesting concept!
Mimics that form mutually beneficial symbiosis with an injured host by mimicking vital organs or lost limbs.
Of course, it would be just as easy to maim a potential host and thus give them no choice in the matter.

I think he planned to take over completely but got a very positive and upbeat host who saw it essentially as a new roommate XD

They're pals now.

I do think it would be fun to do a Parasyte style concept where it's just a mimic instead... like they *could* be an inanimate object, or maybe somebody's prosthetic leg!
