Eh been trying to a drawing for a friend that last few days, but it has not been working out...
So I have been trying to get inspired by buying a stack of comics books from half priced books.... I can't seem to draw in comic book style ether.
So I did this, I am being pigeon holed into one style by my self... I mean I like this drawing, but I am feeling she is =\
Oh well. gonna try and get sorted so i can work on my gift, enjoy this in the mean time ^^;

If I could make a suggestion, try using a soft non-white background color to draw against, like here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4324877
It can help to break the visual monotony and make it easier for you to spot places where you feel comfortable experimenting instead of drawing by reflex. After all since it's digital and we don't have to worry about ghost lines, paper dents and what not, why be constrained to the same mechanics of pencil and paper?

*Shakes Head* You Artists. Only folks in your line of work, as talented as you are, could create something that looks as great as the Piece above and think, "This is so...Meh." I just...I feel like I could live to be a thousand and never comprehend the mind-set of great Artists. And I mean "Great" Artists, a catagory into which damnevildog falls; not, with all due respect, some of folks here on FA that draw something that looks like a 9 year old did it. (Pause) Which, given some of the depictions, is a thought that's down-right disturbing...
