The name\description is the reference to the fact that I've used my own photo as a reference again like in that butterfly pic. It was quite weird, yet kinda satisfying feeling to see that "transformation", like backwards dysphoria, no trace of the initial photo left but I know. Tho normal dysphoria about not being something that beautiful like my shiny dragons took it's toll too, and mixed with a lack of sleep that was a roller coaster of emotions. But anyway, we have a good pic now, sry for venting

I definitely get what you're talking about with the dysphoria of having a remnant of yourself in the image. Sometimes it can be really hard to work on self image and the like - for me, I think my fursona is super cute, so it's difficult sometimes to think of them as cute and myself as not. But it's a good opportunity to try and move some of those good feelings on yourself!
