TwitterWhen animals considered to be "prey" by the apex predators of the world begin to band together for safety, where does it leave those caught in between?
Namely, a pair of pine martens, carnivores and flesh-eaters themselves, but small enough to be considered food for the bears, wolves and gluttons of the forest and field. They're on a journey to seek sanctuary with the rabbits, squirrels and other prey that have gathered to Oren--but they don't know if welcome or condemnation will meet them.

At the risk of sounding pretentious, this page may very well be proof that Rask is Adam, Stone Hollow is the Garden of Eden, and Oren is Jesus.
The whole development of Rask discovering a whole new world and finding hope through Oren and the Stone Hollow is amazing. You're a truly talented authro, Teagan!

More like an imaginary scenario where Adam met Jesus, and I guess that would technically make it the new Eden. Of course, the new Eden is heaven, but I explicitly state the Garden of Eden because now Rask has knowledge, and just like how Adam became shameful of his nakedness, Rask became shameful of his predatory instincts. He became enlightened, and he could not go back to who he once was.
Not to mention that this screams "you can find hope and a new life throughJesus Oren!"
Again, I feel I'm sounding very pretentious, but I just can't help making this analogy. Oren's Forge is the furry Fall of Adam, and I love it.

Kinda reminds me of the final speech from "The Great Dictator"
