I live in Turin and I took this one in may, when the Shroud was exposed. I liked how this kitty was looking at the people with the usual catlike indifference :3

The cat is hilarious there lol. Pretty place, nothing like the replicas in Las Vegas. They do a good job, but it's nothing like the real deal here.
I stayed at the Venetian (and Ceaser's Palace the year before ) last time in Vegas and they would have preformers inside and outside dancing, playing insturments and what not and a mini indoor Gondola. Not the real thing, but certainly a good compromise .
The man in the Gondola was saying how it took 3 weeks to train him for that. I recall hearing that it took years to actualy train for it and you have to be born into a family for tradition sake. lol
Seriously, I love Italy. Thank you for the picture.

I have been on a Gondola years ago, when I was a kid. I like Venice, because is very peculiar with no roads and just water channels, but as we say here 'Venice is beautiful but I would not live there', mostly due to humidity XD
Fun Fact: Most people think that Venice, Rome and Naples are Italian cities with similar traits, while they're light-years different one from the other, and quite distant too!

Humidity is a fun thing isnt it? It's not too terrible up here in Minnesota. But we do live in the land of ten thousand mosquitos (per lake, I added that part :P ).
Indeed, I blame our education system. That's why I want to actualy go there. Like how I doubt the Coliseum is actualy haunted XD.
