Again looking for easy projects. So this came from the thumbnail of a video recommended at the end of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vm1jKEvUabM (a four-minute thing about a rescued raccoon bonding with a coati, presented as a 'weird pairing' although everything I've seen suggests coatis and raccoons recognize each other as ... weird, but kin). Just a coati standing on all fours and see from the side. I liked the look and copied it, giving for a change real attention to just how complicated the shape of our heads is. Like, there's a bunch of layers in there, not just the extreme length of the nose. That's probably why it's so hard to draw it so it looks quite right. It's everything complicated about raccoon heads (which even skilled furry artists struggle with!) put through a weird stretch and smoothing. Anyway I'm happy with the look considering how much was based on just looking at the one thumbnail and thinking how coatis look.
