Sparks is a kobold born without any sorcerous magic, despite the clan elders' bone readings. Instead, Sparks self-taught himself magic the wizard way, a path often shunned by kobolds. Well Sparks decided to leave his tribe, and in his adventure into the greater world, he discovered something few kobolds ever experience - Freedom!
He found a party of adventurers that accepted him and now he is on a journey to places he couldn't imagine, fighting great dangers, and exploring old dungeons. But, a kobold is always a kobold at heart, and sometimes the party has to stop Sparks from falling into the temptations of his inner dragon whenever treasure is discovered.

Been looking around for ideas for D&D NPC ideas. This caught my eye. It's a great concept. Did it play well or just an idea?
Made a tabaxi bard that plays a Hurdy Gurdy. (Stats was just a reskinned stock lute.) When making her name I wanted her to seem Scottish. So Dania Johnstone was made. First female D&D character too. Lol

I'm playing Sparks in a 3.5 game and he does play quite well! The small size and scales helps with his survival in combat. He primarily functions as the book wyrm for the party, identifying anything unusual or magical. His role in combat is most often battlefield control and buffing the melee PCs so he can hide behind them. He's sometimes a little cowardly, but has many dragon tendencies like hoarding his share of the loot and sleeping on it. The other party members have found that treasure is a decent motivator for this little guy.
He's also hilariously sarcastic.

I just now looked at your other art. You seem like youd be interested in my homebrew item the ring of tall.
When put on the wearer gets one foot or 1\3 meter taller. This effect is stackable.
To be honest it'd be nice to get in a game as a player. It's been too long. I use to play on Discord with some friends of mine back in 2017
